Clotrimaderm 1% Cream – Antifungal Treatment for Skin Infections

Clotrimaderm 1% Cream is a topical antifungal medication formulated with clotrimazole to treat a wide range of skin fungal infections. It helps relieve itching, redness, scaling, and discomfort associated with conditions such as athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm, and candidiasis (yeast infections of the skin).

Active Ingredient

• Clotrimazole 1%: A broad-spectrum antifungal agent that works by inhibiting the growth of fungi on the skin.

Non-Medicinal Ingredients

Each gram of cream also contains:

• Cetostearyl alcohol
• Cetyl esters wax
• 2-octyldodecanol
• Polysorbate 60
• Purified water
• Sorbitan monostearate
• Benzyl alcohol (1%) – as a preservative

Indications

For the treatment of fungal infections including:

• Dermatophytosis (ringworm)
• Tinea pedis (athlete’s foot)
• Tinea cruris (jock itch)
• Cutaneous candidiasis (yeast infections of the skin)
• Tinea versicolor (pityriasis versicolor)

Directions for Use

• Clean and dry the affected area before application.
• Apply a thin layer of Clotrimaderm 1% Cream to the affected area twice daily (morning and evening).
• Rub in gently and thoroughly.
• Continue treatment for 2–4 weeks, or as directed by a healthcare professional.
• Wash hands after application.

Warnings & Precautions

• For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes.
• Discontinue use if irritation or allergic reaction occurs.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Consult a healthcare provider if symptoms persist or worsen after 2 weeks.

Storage

Store at room temperature between 15°C to 30°C. Do not freeze.
