Helps to prevent and/or reduce the effects of jet lag (e.g., daytime fatigue, sleep disturbance) for people traveling by plane easterly across two or more time zones. Helps to reduce the time it takes to fall asleep (sleep onset latency aspect of sleep quality) in people with delayed sleep phase disorder. Helps reset the body’s sleep-wake cycle (aspect of the circadian rhythm).

Suggested Use
Adults – For insomnia, take 1 capsule before bed.
For cancer – Take 2–4 capsules before bed. (Consult with a health care practitioner before taking melatonin in cancer.)

Caution
Avoid melatonin for patients with disseminated cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. It may be used short-term during chemo or radiation, but only as prescribed by a physician experienced in integrative oncology.
Consumption with alcohol, other medications, or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking one of the following medications: anticoagulant, anticonvulsant, blood pressure medications, immunosuppressive medications, sedative, hypnotic or psychotropic medications, or steroids; or if you have one of the following conditions: asthma, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, depression, diabetes or hypoglycemia, hormonal disorder, immune system disease, liver disease, migraine, or seizure disorders.
If symptoms persist continuously for more than 4 weeks, consult your health care practitioner. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use this product. Mild gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, vomiting, or cramping) and rare allergic reactions have been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use.
